To change the drill bit, first ensure the drill is powered off and the battery is removed. Then, open the chuck by rotating it counterclockwise. Insert the new drill bit and tighten the chuck by rotating it clockwise until it is secure.
If the drill does not start, check that the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Ensure the forward/reverse control is not in the neutral position. If these are all in order, inspect the battery terminals for any debris or damage.
To maintain battery life, always charge the battery to full capacity before use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use and perform regular checks on the battery terminals for cleanliness and corrosion.
The maximum drilling capacity for wood is 1 inch, while for metal, it is 3/8 inch. Always use the appropriate drill bit and speed settings for the material.
To clean the drill, remove the battery and wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents. Use compressed air to clean dust from vents and moving parts, taking care not to damage any components.
If the drill overheats, stop using it immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for blocked vents or obstructions in the motor housing. Ensure you are using the correct speed setting for the task.
It is not recommended to use the drill in wet conditions. Moisture can damage the internal components and pose a safety risk. Always ensure the work area is dry and the drill is stored in a moisture-free environment.
The LED light illuminates the work area to improve visibility in low-light conditions. It automatically turns on when the trigger is pressed and turns off shortly after releasing the trigger.
Store the drill in a clean, dry place, ideally in its case to protect it from dust and impacts. Ensure the battery is removed and stored separately to prevent accidental activation and prolong battery life.
Regularly check the drill's battery for charge and any signs of damage. Inspect the chuck for wear and ensure it tightens securely. Keep the vents clear of debris and ensure the drill operates smoothly without unusual noises.
