For cutting plywood, it's best to use a fine-toothed carbide-tipped blade, which provides clean cuts and reduces splintering.
To align the blade, ensure the saw is unplugged, then loosen the blade adjustment screws and use a square to align the blade parallel to the table edge before tightening the screws.
Regularly clean the sawdust from the machine, lubricate moving parts, check the blade for sharpness, and inspect electrical cords for wear.
Unplug the saw, raise the blade guard, and use the wrench provided to loosen the arbor nut. Remove the old blade, replace it with a new one, and retighten the arbor nut securely.
A loud noise could indicate a dull blade, loose parts, or lack of lubrication. Inspect the blade and tighten or lubricate parts as necessary.
Ensure the dust port is clear of obstructions, and consider attaching a shop vacuum to the dust port for improved collection.
Check that the power cord is plugged in, the outlet is working, and the saw's switch is turned on. Inspect the power cord for damage and replace if necessary.
While primarily designed for wood, the saw can cut thin metal sheets with the appropriate metal-cutting blade. Ensure you use the correct blade and follow safety precautions.
To adjust the bevel angle, loosen the bevel lock knob, tilt the saw table to the desired angle using the scale, and then tighten the knob to secure the angle.
The saw includes a blade guard, anti-kickback pawls, and a riving knife to enhance safety during operation. Ensure all safety features are properly installed and functioning before use.
