To clean the lint filter, open the door and pull out the lint filter located at the door opening. Remove any lint by hand or with a soft brush. Do this after every drying cycle to maintain efficiency.
First, check if the dryer is plugged in and the power socket is functioning. Ensure the door is fully closed and the start button is pressed. If the problem persists, check the circuit breaker or consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Use the "Anti-Crease" feature available on the dryer. Additionally, promptly remove clothes at the end of the cycle and shake them out before folding or hanging.
Use the "Delicates" drying program which uses a lower temperature to protect sensitive fabrics. Always refer to garment care labels and use a laundry bag for extra protection.
Check if the lint filter and heat exchanger are clean, as blockages can affect drying efficiency. Ensure the room is well-ventilated and that the dryer is not overloaded.
Open the door and pull out the lint filter. Insert the fragrance flacon into its compartment and rotate until it clicks into place. Adjust the intensity by turning the flacon cap.
Regularly clean the lint filter and heat exchanger. Check the door seal for debris and wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Refer to the user manual for detailed maintenance instructions.
Unplug the dryer for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can reset any electronic controls that may have been affected by the power outage.
The Miele TXD160WP is a heat pump dryer and does not require external venting. It recycles air internally, making it more energy-efficient.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Most codes can be resolved by following the recommended troubleshooting steps. If the issue persists, contact Miele customer support for assistance.
