To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent to the AutoDos compartment if not already filled, select the desired program using the control panel, and press the Start button to initiate the cycle.
First, check the filter and drain pump for blockages. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. If the problem persists, consult the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact Miele support.
Remove the lower dish rack to access the filter in the bottom of the dishwasher. Turn the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse under warm water to remove debris, then reinsert it by turning it clockwise until it locks in place.
The AutoDos feature automatically dispenses the precise amount of detergent needed for each cycle, optimizing cleaning performance and detergent usage.
Ensure that no dishes or utensils are obstructing the door. Check the hinges and door seal for any damage or debris. If the issue continues, a service technician may be required to inspect the latch mechanism.
Place larger items like pots and pans in the lower rack and smaller, more delicate items in the upper rack. Ensure that water spray can reach all surfaces by not overloading the racks and keeping larger items from blocking smaller ones.
Regularly clean the filter and check the spray arms for blockages. Wipe the door seal and control panel with a damp cloth. Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner every few months to maintain performance.
Open the rinse aid dispenser and use the dial inside to adjust the dosage to the desired level. Refer to your user manual for specific settings recommendations based on your water hardness.
Refer to the error code section in the user manual to identify the issue. Common solutions include checking water supply, cleaning filters, or resetting the machine. If unresolved, contact Miele customer service for assistance.
Press and hold the Start/Stop button for several seconds until the display turns off, then release it. Wait a few moments and press the Start button again to restart the dishwasher. If it remains unresponsive, disconnect the power for a few minutes before trying again.
