To align the blade, first ensure the saw is unplugged. Loosen the blade tilt locking handle, adjust the blade to the desired angle using the scale for reference, and then tighten the locking handle to secure the blade position.
Check the power supply and ensure the saw is plugged in. Inspect the fuse or circuit breaker and reset if necessary. If the problem persists, check the switch and motor connections for any loose wires.
Regularly clean the sawdust from the machine, inspect the blade for sharpness, lubricate moving parts, and check the alignment of the blade and fence. Ensure all safety features are functional.
Unplug the saw. Use the blade wrench to loosen the arbor nut by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the old blade, place the new blade on the arbor, ensuring the teeth are facing the correct direction, and tighten the arbor nut securely.
Check that the blade is properly installed and balanced. Inspect the saw for any loose parts. Ensure that the workpiece is securely held and that the saw is on a stable surface.
Ensure that the dust extraction port is clear and connect it to a suitable dust extraction system. Regularly clean the dust bag or container if using one. Consider using a higher capacity dust extractor for better performance.
The maximum cutting depth of the saw is 85 mm at 90 degrees and 58 mm at 45 degrees.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Ensure the blade guard is in place, and never reach over the blade while it's in motion. Follow all safety instructions provided in the user manual.
Check the alignment of the blade and the fence; recalibrate if necessary. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped and that the saw is on a flat, stable surface. Verify that the blade is sharp and in good condition.
Ensure the saw is unplugged and the blade is fully retracted. Secure all moving parts and use the transport handles if available. If the saw has wheels, ensure they are locked during transport to prevent rolling.
