To change the drill bit, first ensure the tool is turned off and unplugged. Pull back the chuck sleeve to release the current bit, insert the new bit into the chuck, and release the sleeve to secure it.
It's recommended to clean and inspect the tool after each use, check for wear and tear monthly, and have it professionally serviced annually or as needed based on usage frequency.
Check if the power cord is plugged in and inspect for any visible damage. Ensure the power outlet is functioning. If the tool still doesn't start, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker and consult the manual for further assistance.
Stop the tool immediately to prevent damage. Gently rock the tool back and forth while reversing the rotation to release the bit. Avoid applying excessive force.
Clean the tool to remove dust and debris. Store it in a dry, cool place inside its carrying case to protect it from moisture and impact.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clear of hazards and maintain a firm grip on the tool during operation.
Use the variable speed dial located on the tool to adjust the speed settings based on your specific drilling needs. Refer to the manual for optimal speed settings for different materials.
Stop using the tool immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions in the airflow vents and clean them if necessary. Reduce the workload or take breaks to prevent future overheating.
Unplug the tool and remove the brush caps on each side of the motor housing. Take out the old brushes, insert the new ones, and replace the caps securely.
Use a dry cloth to wipe away dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used. Avoid using water or solvents that might damage the tool's components.
