To check the engine oil level, ensure the car is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Open the hood and locate the dipstick. Pull it out, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, and then remove it again to check the oil level. The oil should be between the "F" (full) and "L" (low) marks.
Mazda recommends using SAE 0W-20 engine oil with a quality grade of ILSAC GF-5 or higher for the 2019 MX-5 Miata.
To reset the TPMS, ensure all tires are properly inflated. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Press and hold the TPMS reset button, located under the dashboard, until the TPMS indicator light blinks twice.
If the battery is dead, you can jump-start the car using jumper cables and another vehicle. Attach the positive cable to the positive terminal of both batteries, and the negative cable to the negative terminal on the donor car and a metal part of your car. Start the donor vehicle, then your Miata.
It's recommended to inspect the air filter every 12,000 to 15,000 miles and replace it if it's dirty or clogged.
The recommended tire pressure for the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is 29 psi for both front and rear tires.
To change the headlight bulb, turn off the engine and open the hood. Locate the back of the headlight assembly, remove the cover, and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the old bulb, insert the new one without touching the glass, and reassemble in reverse order.
To pair your smartphone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. On the car's infotainment screen, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Bluetooth" > "Add New Device." Select your phone from the list and confirm the pairing code on both devices.
Regularly clean the convertible top with a mild soap and water solution. Inspect for any tears or damage. Lubricate the moving parts with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
To replace the windshield wipers, lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Press the release tab on the wiper blade and slide it off the arm. Align the new blade and slide it onto the arm until it clicks into place.
