Lowrance Simrad B&G BT-1 Quick Reference Guide

To pair your BT-1 Bluetooth Station, ensure that the device is powered on and within range. Access the Bluetooth settings on your device, search for available devices, and select 'BT-1'. If prompted, enter the default passcode '0000'.
If your BT-1 is not connecting, try restarting both the Bluetooth Station and your device. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that no other devices are interfering. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset on the BT-1.
To update the firmware, connect the BT-1 to your computer using a USB cable. Download the latest firmware from the Lowrance, Simrad, or B&G support website and follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
The BT-1 Bluetooth Station has a range of up to 30 feet (approximately 9 meters) in open spaces, though walls and other obstacles can reduce this range.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED indicator blinks red. This will restore the device to its original settings.
The BT-1 Bluetooth Station can maintain active connections with one device at a time. To switch devices, disconnect the current device before connecting a new one.
When fully charged, the LED indicator on the BT-1 will turn solid green. Charging typically takes about 2-3 hours.
Poor audio quality may be due to interference, low battery, or being out of range. Ensure your device is within range, the battery is charged, and there are no electronic devices causing interference.
To extend battery life, turn off the BT-1 when not in use, reduce the volume level, and keep the firmware updated. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
If the BT-1 overheats, turn it off immediately and disconnect any cables. Allow it to cool down in a shaded area. Check for firmware updates that might address the issue.
