To pair your smartphone with the Kia Telluride's Bluetooth system, go to Settings on your infotainment screen, select Bluetooth, and make sure it is turned on. Then, on your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings, search for available devices, and select 'Kia Motors'. Confirm the pairing code on both devices to complete the connection.
If the tire pressure warning light comes on, check the tire pressure of all tires as soon as possible. Adjust the pressure to the recommended levels indicated on the driver's side door jamb. If the light remains on, inspect the tires for any signs of damage or leaks.
To reset the maintenance required light, turn the ignition on without starting the engine. Use the steering wheel controls to navigate to the 'Service Interval' menu on the dashboard display. Select 'Reset' and confirm your choice.
The 2022 Kia Telluride typically requires SAE 5W-30 synthetic oil. The engine oil capacity with a filter change is approximately 6.9 quarts. Always refer to the owner’s manual for the most accurate information.
To use the Smart Liftgate feature, ensure it is activated in the vehicle settings. With the key fob in your possession, stand near the rear of the vehicle for about 3 seconds, and the liftgate will automatically open.
To replace a headlight bulb, turn off the vehicle and open the hood. Locate the back of the headlight assembly and remove the cover. Disconnect the power connector and remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise. Install the new bulb by reversing the process.
To update the navigation system, visit the Kia Navigation Update website and download the update software to a USB drive. Insert the USB drive into your vehicle's USB port and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
To enable or disable Lane Keeping Assist, press the Lane Keeping Assist button located on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. A light on the instrument panel will indicate the status of the feature.
To jump-start, first ensure both vehicles are in park and turned off. Connect the positive cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery, then to the positive terminal of the good battery. Connect the negative cable to the negative terminal of the good battery, and the other end to an unpainted metal surface on the Telluride. Start the assisting vehicle and let it run for a few minutes before starting the Telluride.
Improve fuel efficiency by maintaining steady speeds, avoiding rapid acceleration and braking, ensuring tires are properly inflated, and reducing excess weight in the vehicle. Regular maintenance such as oil changes and air filter replacements can also help.
