To connect your smartphone via Bluetooth, first ensure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone. On the Seltos, go to the infotainment system, select 'Setup', then 'Bluetooth', and choose 'Add New Device'. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your phone.
If the engine fails to start, check if the battery is charged and the terminals are clean. Ensure the car is in 'Park' and the brake pedal is fully depressed while starting. If the issue persists, consult a Kia service center.
Check the tire pressure monthly using a reliable pressure gauge. Refer to the driver's door jamb for the recommended pressure levels. Adjust the pressure when tires are cold for accurate readings.
To update the navigation system, download the latest update from the Kia website onto a USB drive. Insert the USB into the vehicle's port and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update process.
The recommended maintenance schedule includes oil changes every 7,500 miles, tire rotations every 7,500 miles, and brake inspections at every service interval. Refer to the owner’s manual for a detailed schedule.
After inflating the tires to the correct pressure, drive the vehicle at a steady speed for a few minutes. The TPMS should reset automatically. If not, consult your owner's manual or a Kia technician.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, avoid excessive idling, drive at moderate speeds, and ensure regular maintenance such as timely oil changes and air filter replacements.
To replace a headlight bulb, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Disconnect the power connector, remove the dust cover, and release the bulb retaining clip. Replace the old bulb with a new one and reassemble in reverse order.
To enable or disable the auto start-stop feature, locate the button labeled 'A' with a circular arrow around it on the dashboard. Press this button to toggle the feature on or off.
If the infotainment system is unresponsive, try restarting the vehicle, checking for software updates, or resetting the system to factory settings through the setup menu. If issues persist, seek assistance from a Kia dealer.
