Karcher K1900PS 1.106-210.0 Operator's Manual

To assemble the Karcher K1900PS, attach the high-pressure hose to the spray gun and the unit. Connect the water supply with a garden hose, and ensure the power switch is in the off position before plugging it into an outlet.
Use only Karcher approved detergents that are designed for pressure washers. These are formulated to work efficiently with the machine and to avoid damage.
To troubleshoot low pressure, check for blockages in the nozzle, ensure the water supply is fully turned on, and verify there are no kinks in the hose. Additionally, inspect the inlet filter for debris.
Regular maintenance should be performed after every 50 hours of use or at least once a year, including checking hoses, nozzles, and seals for wear and cleaning the water inlet filter.
Ensure that the machine is plugged into a working outlet and the power switch is turned on. Check the GFCI on the power cord and reset it if needed. Inspect the extension cord for damage if one is being used.
To prevent overheating, avoid running the machine continuously for more than 30 minutes. Allow it to cool down between tasks, and ensure it is used in a well-ventilated area.
Use the 40-degree nozzle for cleaning vehicles. It provides a wide spray for gentle cleaning and reduces the risk of damaging the car's paint.
After use, disconnect the water supply and spray gun. Allow the machine to run for 30 seconds without water to clear out any remaining moisture. Store it in a dry, frost-free place, and coil the hoses neatly to prevent damage.
Pulsating can be caused by air in the system. Ensure all connections are tight and that the water supply is adequate. Bleed the system by running water through the machine without the spray gun attached.
To clean the nozzle, remove it from the spray wand and use the cleaning needle provided to clear any debris. Rinse with water to ensure it is free of blockages before reattaching.
