To start the Karcher Honda G 3500 OHT, ensure the fuel valve is open, the choke is set to on for a cold engine, and the throttle is set to full. Pull the starter cord briskly until the engine starts. Once started, move the choke to the open position.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for the Honda engine in the Karcher G 3500 OHT. It's important to regularly check and maintain the oil level to ensure optimal performance.
Check for any blockages in the nozzle or hose, ensure the water supply is adequate, and verify that the inlet filter is clean and not clogged. Also, inspect the pump for any leaks or damage.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, cleaning the air filter, inspecting hoses and nozzles for wear, and ensuring connections are tight. Periodically run water through the system without the engine running to flush out any debris.
To winterize, drain all water from the pump and hoses. Add a pump saver antifreeze to prevent internal damage. Store the unit in a dry place away from freezing temperatures.
Ensure the fuel is fresh and the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Check the air filter for clogs and ensure the choke and throttle are set correctly. If the problem persists, inspect the carburetor for any issues.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. If it's a foam filter, wash it with soapy water and let it dry completely before reinstalling. For paper filters, tap it gently to remove debris or replace it if it's too dirty.
Check for loose parts and ensure the unit is on a stable surface. Inspect the pump and engine mounts for wear. Also, verify that the nozzle is the correct size and not clogged.
After use, turn off the engine and disconnect the water supply. Release any pressure in the system by pressing the trigger. Drain any remaining water and store the unit in a cool, dry place.
This model is designed for cold water use only. Using hot water can damage the pump and other components, voiding the warranty.
