To set up the Karcher HD 3.0 27 G for the first time, ensure all connections are secure. Attach the high-pressure hose and spray gun, fill the fuel tank and check oil levels. Connect to a suitable water source, and ensure the water filter is clean. Start the engine following the manual's instructions.
If the pressure washer does not start, check for fuel supply and oil levels. Inspect the spark plug for damage or wear. Ensure all electrical connections are secure if using an electric start. Make sure the engine switch is in the 'on' position.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the engine oil, cleaning the water filter, inspecting hoses and seals for leaks, and checking the nozzle for blockages. It is also important to ensure the air filter is clean and in good condition.
To prevent freezing, drain all water from the unit and hoses after use. Consider using a pump saver antifreeze product to protect internal components. Store the pressure washer in a dry, sheltered place above freezing temperatures.
If experiencing low pressure, check for clogs in the nozzle and clean if necessary. Ensure the water supply is adequate and free of restrictions. Inspect the high-pressure hose for leaks or kinks. Verify that the unloader valve is functioning correctly.
Pulsing may be caused by air in the system or a clogged nozzle. Bleed the air from the system by running the washer without the spray gun handle attached. Clean or replace the nozzle if blocked. Check the water supply for adequate flow.
To change the oil, start by running the engine for a few minutes to warm it. Turn off the washer and disconnect the spark plug. Drain the old oil through the drain plug and refill with the recommended oil type to the correct level.
To clean the nozzle, detach it from the spray wand. Use a small brush or needle to clear any debris from the nozzle tip. Rinse with water to ensure it's free of any blockages. Reattach securely before use.
To transport safely, ensure the unit is turned off and cooled down. Secure the machine in an upright position to prevent oil or fuel spillage. Use proper lifting techniques or equipment to avoid injury.
Check the air filter for dirt and clean or replace if necessary. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if needed. Ensure fuel is clean and fresh. Adjust the carburetor settings as per the manual if required.
