To start the Karcher G 3500 OCT, first ensure that the water supply is connected and turned on. Then, set the power switch to the 'on' position, pull the choke out if starting cold, and pull the starter handle briskly.
Check if the inlet filter is clean and ensure there are no kinks in the hose. Verify that the water supply is adequate and that the nozzle is not clogged.
Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter, inspect hoses for wear or leaks, and change the engine oil every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
This could be due to an overheating engine, low oil level, or a clogged fuel filter. Check the oil level and clean the air filter as part of regular maintenance.
Drain all water from the pump and hoses. Add pump saver antifreeze to protect the pump from freezing temperatures. Store the unit in a dry place.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for the engine, as recommended in the user's manual. Ensure the oil is suitable for the ambient temperature range.
Turn off the machine and disconnect the spray wand. Use the nozzle cleaning tool provided or a fine needle to clear any debris from the nozzle.
It is not recommended to use bleach or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the pump. Use only detergents specifically designed for pressure washers.
Check the fuel level and quality, ensure the spark plug is functioning, and verify that the choke is set correctly for starting.
Clean the air filter every 25 hours of use or more frequently if operating in dusty conditions. Replace the air filter annually or as needed.
