To start the Karcher G 3000, ensure that the water supply is connected and turned on. Set the choke to the 'ON' position if the engine is cold, then turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. Pull the starter rope briskly until the engine starts.
To clean the nozzle, remove it from the spray wand and use a needle or a nozzle cleaning tool to clear any debris. Rinse with water and ensure it is completely clean before reattaching.
Pressure loss can be due to a clogged nozzle, air in the inlet water supply, or a kinked hose. Check the nozzle for blockages, ensure the water supply is steady, and straighten any kinks in the hose.
It's recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours or annually thereafter. Use SAE 10W-30 oil for optimal performance.
The Karcher G 3000 is designed for use with cold water only. Using hot water can damage the pump and void the warranty.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level and ensure the choke is in the correct position. Make sure the spark plug is clean and securely connected. Also, verify that the oil level is adequate.
To winterize, drain all water from the pump and hoses. Run the engine briefly to clear any remaining water. Add antifreeze to the pump to prevent freezing and store in a dry place.
Use only pressure washer approved detergents designed specifically for use with pressure washers. Avoid using bleach or any corrosive chemicals as they can damage the unit.
Ensure proper ventilation around the engine, do not run the pressure washer for extended periods without breaks, and keep the air filter clean to prevent overheating.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced spray wand or loose components. Check that all screws and fittings are tight, and ensure the spray wand is properly balanced.
