HPI Racing Savage X Flux 160101 Exploded View

The Savage X Flux 160101 uses a brushless motor, so it does not require a traditional break-in process like nitro engines. However, it's recommended to start with gentle driving to ensure all components are seated properly.
Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and debris. For deeper cleaning, use a mild detergent with water and a soft cloth. Ensure all electronic components are dry before reconnecting the battery.
Check the battery charge level, ensure the connectors are securely attached, and inspect for any damaged wires. Verify the ESC switch is turned on and the remote batteries are functioning.
Inspect for any loose screws or bolts, clean the chassis, check the condition of the tires and suspension, and ensure the drivetrain is lubricated appropriately.
Adjust the shock absorber tension using the pre-load collars on the shocks. Softer suspension settings are better for rough terrain, while stiffer settings are ideal for smooth surfaces.
A grinding noise can indicate debris in the gears or a damaged gear. Inspect the gear mesh and clean any debris. Replace any damaged gears to avoid further damage.
The Savage X Flux is compatible with 2S or 3S LiPo batteries. Use high-quality, compatible batteries for optimal performance and safety.
To calibrate the ESC, turn on the transmitter, then the ESC while holding the set button. Follow the prompts given by the ESC manual to complete the calibration process.
Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on and operating on the same frequency. Check for any interference and replace or recharge the batteries if needed.
To extend run time, use a higher capacity battery, reduce weight where possible, and optimize driving habits to be less aggressive with throttle use.
