To break in the engine, start with a rich fuel mixture and run the engine at low speeds for several tanks, gradually increasing speed. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for specific break-in procedures.
Check the glow plug, fuel lines, and ensure the carburetor settings are correct. Make sure there’s adequate fuel and the glow starter is charged.
Adjust the suspension settings and tire types according to the terrain. Softer settings are better for rough terrain, while firmer settings work well on smooth surfaces.
Regularly clean the air filter, check for loose screws and bolts, and inspect the drivetrain components. Lubricate moving parts and change the glow plug as needed.
Start with the factory settings, then fine-tune the high-speed and low-speed needles for optimal performance. Adjust the idle screw to ensure a smooth idle.
Stop the engine immediately and let it cool. Check for lean fuel settings, insufficient airflow, and obstructions in the cooling head. Adjust the carburetor if necessary.
Use a glow plug wrench to remove the old plug. Install a new glow plug, ensuring it is snug but not overly tightened. Check for proper ignition before starting the engine.
Inspect the air filter, fuel lines, and carburetor settings. Make sure the exhaust is not blocked and the glow plug is functioning properly.
Upgrade to stronger parts such as metal gears and aluminum components. Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle to prevent wear and tear.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly, drain any fuel from the tank and lines, and store it in a cool, dry place. Disconnect the battery to prevent discharge.
