To lubricate the belt, first unplug the treadmill. Lift the belt slightly and apply a silicone-based lubricant along the edges. Move the belt manually to spread the lubricant evenly. Plug the treadmill back in and run it at a low speed for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant.
If the belt slips, it may need tensioning. Use an Allen wrench to adjust the bolts at the end of the deck. Tighten each bolt a quarter turn clockwise, checking belt tension after each adjustment until proper tension is achieved.
To calibrate the speed, enter the engineering mode by pressing and holding the speed up and stop buttons simultaneously while inserting the safety key. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the console. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water to prevent damage. Regular cleaning helps maintain the treadmill's appearance and functionality.
A loud noise could be due to loose bolts, a misaligned belt, or a need for lubrication. Inspect these areas and perform necessary maintenance to reduce noise levels.
Use the incline buttons on the console to adjust the treadmill's incline. Press the 'up' button to increase and the 'down' button to decrease the incline level.
Check if the safety key is securely in place. If the key is secure, inspect the power cord and outlet. If the issue persists, contact Horizon Fitness customer support for further assistance.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 150 miles or every three months, whichever comes first. This includes lubricating the belt, checking for loose bolts, and cleaning the treadmill.
The maximum user weight limit for the Horizon Fitness Adventure 3 Treadmill is 300 pounds (136 kg). Exceeding this limit may cause damage or reduce the lifespan of the treadmill.
Ensure the treadmill is plugged in and the power switch is turned on. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. If the display still does not work, contact Horizon Fitness customer support for further troubleshooting.
