To descale your Hitachi PK1 Kettle, fill it with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Boil the solution and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water before use.
Ensure the kettle is properly connected to a power source and the power switch is in the "on" position. Check the power outlet and the kettle's power cord for any damage.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the kettle. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they may damage the surface.
If the kettle boils dry, unplug it immediately and let it cool down before refilling it with water. Avoid boiling it dry repeatedly as it may damage the kettle.
It is not recommended to boil milk in the kettle as it can cause residue buildup and affect the taste of boiled water. Use the kettle for water only.
A strange taste may indicate residue buildup or insufficient cleaning. Regularly descale and clean the kettle following the manufacturer's instructions.
To replace the filter, remove the kettle lid and gently pull out the old filter. Insert the new filter and ensure it is securely in place before using the kettle.
The maximum capacity of the Hitachi PK1 Kettle is 1.7 liters. Do not fill the kettle beyond the maximum level to avoid boiling over.
Regularly descale your kettle using a vinegar solution or a commercial descaling product. Use filtered water to reduce limescale formation.
If the lid is stuck, ensure the kettle is cool and gently try to lift the lid while pressing the release button. Avoid forcing it open to prevent damage.
