To assemble the Hitachi FPR1, first attach the bowl to the base, ensuring it locks into place. Then, choose the desired blade or attachment, and secure it on the motor shaft inside the bowl. Finally, place the lid on top, ensuring the safety lock is engaged.
If the FPR1 doesn't start, check if it is properly plugged into a working outlet. Ensure that the bowl and lid are correctly positioned and the safety lock is engaged. If the problem persists, consult the troubleshooting section in the manual.
To clean the FPR1, first unplug the unit. Remove all detachable parts and wash them in warm, soapy water. Use a damp cloth to wipe the base. Avoid immersing the base in water or using abrasive cleaners.
If the blades of the FPR1 become dull, consider purchasing replacement blades as sharpening them might affect their balance and performance. Always use manufacturer-approved parts for replacements.
To prevent overheating, do not run the processor continuously for more than 3 minutes. Allow it to cool down between extended processing tasks. Ensure that the ingredients do not exceed the bowl's maximum capacity.
It is not recommended to process hot liquids in the FPR1 as they can cause damage to the processor and pose a safety risk. Allow liquids to cool before processing.
To use the slicing attachment, fix it onto the motor shaft and secure the lid. Feed the ingredients through the feed tube while the processor is running, using the pusher to guide them safely onto the blade.
Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of wear. Clean the processor after each use, and periodically check the condition of the blades and attachments. Store the unit in a dry place to prevent moisture damage.
Store blades and attachments in a designated storage case or in a drawer with blade guards to prevent injury. Keep them out of reach of children.
If the FPR1 emits a burning smell, immediately turn off and unplug the unit. Check if there is an obstruction or overload causing the motor to strain. If the issue persists, contact Hitachi customer support for assistance.
