Haier ESA405P User & Care Guide

To install your Haier ESA405P, begin by positioning it in a suitable window. Ensure the window can support its weight. Secure the unit using the mounting hardware provided. Seal any gaps with weatherstripping to prevent air leaks.
Check that the unit is plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Remove the front grille and take out the air filter. Rinse it under warm water and allow it to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Clean the filter every two weeks for optimal performance.
A loud noise may be due to loose parts or debris in the unit. Turn off the air conditioner and inspect for any visible obstructions. Tighten any loose screws or panels and ensure the unit is level.
Regularly clean the air filter, inspect the condenser coils for dust, and check for any signs of wear or damage. Perform these checks monthly during the cooling season.
To reset your Haier ESA405P, turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
Ensure that doors and windows are closed while the air conditioner is running. Use curtains to block direct sunlight and regularly clean the air filter.
Check if the unit is tilted correctly to allow water to drain outside. Clear any blockages from the drainage hole and ensure the drain pan is not cracked.
Press the 'Timer' button on the remote control. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired time for the air conditioner to turn on or off. Confirm by pressing the 'Timer' button again.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with your air conditioner. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is rated for the unit’s power requirements and is equipped with a ground connection.
