GE PRV02 PRV02ATTBB Installation Instructions

To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down buttons to set your desired temperature. The recommended temperature is 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and ensure there is adequate airflow around the appliance. If the issue persists, contact GE customer support.
It is recommended to replace the water filter every six months, or more frequently if the water flow to the dispenser or ice maker decreases.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to wipe down all surfaces. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before restocking the refrigerator.
Water pooling can be caused by a clogged defrost drain. To fix this, locate the drain at the back of the refrigerator and use a solution of warm water and baking soda to clear any blockage.
To reset the ice maker, ensure it is turned on and the water supply is connected. Press the reset button located on the ice maker or unplug the refrigerator for a few minutes and then plug it back in.
Check for obstructions in the door seal and ensure that the refrigerator is level. Adjust the leveling screws at the bottom of the refrigerator if necessary. Also, verify that the door gaskets are clean and not damaged.
To improve energy efficiency, set the refrigerator to the recommended temperature, ensure the door seals are intact, avoid overloading the refrigerator, and clean the condenser coils regularly.
Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. Common codes might indicate issues with the temperature sensor or defrost system. Resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it for a few minutes can sometimes resolve error codes.
To silence the alarm, locate the alarm button on the control panel. Press and hold it for a few seconds until the alarm stops. This can occur if the door is left open for an extended period or if there is a power outage.
