To perform a self-clean cycle, remove all racks and bakeware from the oven. Close the oven door and select the self-clean option from the control panel. Set the desired cleaning time and press start. Ensure the kitchen is well-ventilated as the oven door will lock during the cycle.
First, check if the range is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. If the connections are correct, inspect if the oven's bake element is glowing red; if not, it may need replacement. Consult the user manual for further troubleshooting or contact a professional technician.
Ensure the oven is turned off and cooled. Remove the light cover by turning it counterclockwise. Carefully remove the old bulb and replace it with a new appliance-rated bulb. Reattach the cover and restore power to the oven.
Use flat-bottomed, medium to heavyweight cookware made of stainless steel or aluminum for best results. Avoid using cast iron, stoneware, and glass cookware as they can scratch the surface.
To calibrate the oven temperature, press the "Bake" button and set it to 350°F. Press and hold the "Bake" button until "00" appears. Use the arrow keys to adjust the temperature up or down. Press "Start" to save the changes.
Check if the range is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the panel is still unresponsive, try resetting the range by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Allow the cooktop to cool completely. Use a soft cloth or sponge and apply a ceramic cooktop cleaner to remove stains. For stubborn spots, use a scraper designed for ceramic surfaces. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Remove all oven racks and any utensils before starting the self-clean cycle. Ensure the kitchen is well-ventilated. Do not use oven cleaners or abrasive pads. Keep children and pets away during the cycle as the oven exterior can become hot.
Aluminum foil can be used to cover food or line a baking sheet. However, it should not be used to line the oven bottom as it can interfere with heat distribution and potentially damage the oven.
Conduct a simple test by placing a sheet of paper between the door and the oven's frame. Close the door and try to pull the paper out. If it slides out easily, the door may not be sealing properly, and you may need to replace the door gasket.
