To reset the temperature settings, press the 'Freezer' or 'Fridge' button until you reach the desired temperature. The display will show the new setting and adjust accordingly.
Check if the condenser coils are clean and ensure that the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked. If the problem persists, consider calling a technician for further diagnosis.
The GE GLE12HSLSS is a frost-free model, so it does not require manual defrosting. However, ensure regular maintenance and cleaning to keep it running efficiently.
The 'Turbo Cool' feature helps to quickly restore the refrigerator's interior to the set temperature after frequent door openings or when adding large amounts of food.
Locate the water filter compartment inside the refrigerator, turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it, and replace it with a new one by turning it clockwise.
Unusual noises may be due to the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor running. Ensure the unit is level and items are securely placed.
Unplug the refrigerator, locate the coils either at the back or underneath, and gently vacuum or brush off any dust and debris. Reconnect the power once cleaned.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on, check the water supply line for blockages, and make sure the freezer temperature is set to 0°F (-18°C).
Keep the refrigerator full but not overcrowded, set the temperature to the recommended setting, ensure door seals are intact, and clean the condenser coils regularly.
The recommended temperature setting for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and for the freezer is 0°F (-18°C). Adjust these settings as necessary for optimal performance.
