For delicate fabrics, it is recommended to use the "Delicates" cycle which provides gentle drying with lower heat to prevent damage to delicate items.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in, the door is closed securely, and the start button is pressed firmly. Additionally, check the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Regularly clean the lint filter before or after each load. Periodically, inspect and clean the vent system from the dryer to the outside to prevent lint buildup.
Use the "Wrinkle Care" option which intermittently tumbles clothes after the cycle ends to reduce wrinkling. Remove clothes promptly after the cycle is complete.
Unusual noises may be caused by objects caught in the drum or filter, or worn drum rollers. Check for foreign objects and inspect the rollers for wear.
Use the "Eco Dry" option to reduce energy usage. Ensure loads are full but not overloaded, and clean the lint filter regularly to maintain efficiency.
Check if the dryer is set to a no-heat cycle. Verify that the gas supply is on for gas models, and inspect the heating element or thermostat for issues.
Unplug the dryer and use a non-abrasive cleaner with a soft cloth to wipe the drum. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might damage the interior.
This may be due to a power interruption, overheated motor, or a door that is not fully closed. Check these components and reset the dryer if necessary.
Use fabric softener sheets or dryer balls to minimize static. Additionally, ensure that the clothes are not over-dried by selecting the appropriate dryness level.
