To reset the dishwasher, turn off the power by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker for about 30 seconds. Then, restore power and try starting the dishwasher again.
Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Ensure the garbage disposal cap is removed if connected. Clean the filter and sump area to remove debris.
It is recommended to clean the filter once a month to ensure optimal performance and to prevent clogs.
Ensure that dishes are properly loaded and not touching each other. Check for any foreign objects in the spray arm or filter area.
Place large items like pots and pans along the sides and back of the lower rack, and ensure that nothing blocks the spray arms. Load smaller items and glasses in the top rack.
Ensure the door is closed securely. Check if the child lock feature is activated. Verify that the dishwasher is properly connected to the power supply.
Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled, as this aids in drying. Select a longer drying cycle or use the heated dry option if available.
Use high-quality detergent and ensure the water temperature is at least 120°F. Regularly clean the spray arms and filters to prevent blockages.
Regularly clean the filters, check and clean the spray arms, and inspect the door seals for any debris or mold. Run a cleaning cycle with vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner monthly.
Check the door gasket for damage or debris. Ensure the dishwasher is level and not overfilled. Inspect the water inlet valve and hose connections for leaks.
