To clean the filters, remove them from the hood and soak in warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling.
Check if the hood is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. If these are fine, inspect the fan switch and motor. Consider consulting a professional if the issue persists.
Charcoal filters should be replaced approximately every 6 months, depending on usage. Regularly inspect them for signs of wear or reduced effectiveness.
Excessive noise can be caused by loose parts or debris in the fan blades. Check for loose screws and clean any debris from the fan area.
To change the light bulb, ensure the hood is off and the bulb is cool. Remove the bulb cover and replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
Perform regular cleaning of the filters every month, inspect and replace charcoal filters every 6 months, and clean the hood's exterior weekly.
Ensure that the filters are clean and not clogged. Make sure the ductwork is clear and not obstructed. Use the fan speed appropriate for your cooking needs.
Some vibration is normal, but excessive vibration can indicate an imbalance in the fan or loose components. Check for any loose parts and ensure the hood is securely mounted.
Flickering lights can be caused by loose connections or a faulty bulb. Check to ensure the bulbs are securely fitted and that there are no loose wires.
To reset the control panel, turn off the power to the hood at the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This can resolve minor control panel issues.
