To clean the filters, first turn off and unplug the vacuum. Remove the filters from the machine. Wash them under cold water until the water runs clear. Allow them to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them.
Check for blockages in the hose, wand, and brush bar. Ensure the filters are clean and properly installed. Also, make sure the dust bin is empty and securely attached.
Regularly check the brush bar for tangled hair or debris. Use scissors to carefully cut away any obstructions. Ensure the brush bar rotates freely and is not obstructed.
Press the red button to release the bin from the vacuum, hold it over a trash can, and press the red release button again to open the base of the bin and empty the debris.
A whistling noise may indicate an air leak. Check that the bin is properly seated and that all seals and gaskets are intact. Also, inspect for any blockages in the hose or wand.
Ensure the vacuum is plugged into a working outlet. Check the power cord for damage. If the vacuum still won't turn on, it may require professional servicing.
The vacuum typically comes with a combination tool, stair tool, and turbine tool. Attach these tools to the wand for cleaning various surfaces like upholstery, stairs, and tight spaces.
Filters should be washed every 1-3 months, but they do not need regular replacement unless damaged. Replacement is usually required once every 12 months or as needed depending on usage.
Store the vacuum in a cool, dry place. Ensure the cord is wound properly and that the vacuum is not exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture.
First, check if the brush bar is obstructed by debris. If clear, ensure that the brush bar reset button is not tripped. Press the reset button located near the brush bar to restart it.
