The Ducati XDiavel S 2018 requires unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 95 RON.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 15,000 kilometers (approximately 9,320 miles) or once a year, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tire is 2.5 bar (36 psi) and for the rear tire is 2.9 bar (42 psi).
If the bike won't start, check the battery connections, ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position, and verify that the fuel level is adequate. If the issue persists, consult a Ducati technician.
The maintenance schedule includes regular checks every 1,000 kilometers for chain tension, brake pads, and fluid levels, with comprehensive servicing every 15,000 kilometers.
To adjust the suspension, use the adjusters on the front forks for compression and rebound damping, and adjust the rear shock absorber for preload and damping settings according to your riding preference.
If the check engine light comes on, check for any obvious issues such as loose connections or low fluid levels. If no issues are found, have the motorcycle diagnosed by a qualified Ducati technician.
Clean the chain with a suitable chain cleaner and a brush. After cleaning, apply a high-quality chain lubricant to ensure smooth operation and longevity. Perform this maintenance every 500 kilometers or more frequently if riding in wet conditions.
It is recommended to use genuine Ducati brake pads or equivalent high-performance aftermarket pads that meet Ducati's specifications for optimal braking performance.
To check the coolant level, ensure the motorcycle is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Locate the coolant reservoir and check that the fluid level is between the 'min' and 'max' marks. Top up with the recommended coolant if necessary.
