The recommended tire pressure for the Ducati Scrambler 1100 2019 is 2.5 bar (36 psi) for the front tire and 2.9 bar (42 psi) for the rear tire.
It is recommended to change the oil every 7,500 miles (12,000 km) or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
Ducati recommends using a fully synthetic 15W-50 motor oil with API SJ, JASO MA, or MA2 specifications for optimal performance.
To adjust the chain tension, first elevate the bike using a stand, then loosen the rear axle nut. Adjust the chain tension using the adjuster bolts on both sides of the swingarm until you achieve 30-35 mm of slack, then retighten the axle nut.
To store your Ducati Scrambler 1100 for winter, clean it thoroughly, fill the tank, add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, and disconnect the battery. Store the bike in a dry, covered place, and use a motorcycle cover.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure that the tires are properly inflated, perform regular maintenance such as oil and air filter changes, avoid rapid acceleration, and maintain a consistent speed while riding.
To bleed the brakes, connect a clear hose to the bleeder valve, pump the brake lever several times, then hold it. Open the bleeder valve to release air and fluid, close the valve, and repeat until the brake lever feels firm.
Overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a faulty thermostat, or a clogged radiator. Check the coolant level and radiator for obstructions, and replace the thermostat if necessary.
Regular maintenance tasks include checking and adjusting tire pressure, changing the oil and filter, checking brake pads and fluid, inspecting the chain and sprockets, and ensuring all lights and electrical components are functioning.
To reset the service light, turn the ignition on, scroll to the service interval screen, and press and hold the mode button until the light resets. It is recommended to have this done by a Ducati service center.
