The recommended tire pressure for the Ducati Hypermotard 2013 is 34 psi for the front tire and 36 psi for the rear tire.
It is recommended to change the oil every 7,500 miles or 12,000 kilometers, or once a year, whichever comes first.
The Ducati Hypermotard 2013 requires a fully synthetic 10W-40 motorcycle oil that meets JASO MA or MA2 standards.
To adjust the chain tension, first loosen the axle nut, then turn the chain adjuster bolts evenly on both sides until the desired tension is achieved, and finally tighten the axle nut to secure it.
Remove the air filter, wash it with a mild detergent and warm water, rinse thoroughly, let it dry completely, and then re-oil it lightly before reinstalling.
To reset the service light, you will need a diagnostic tool compatible with Ducati motorcycles, or you can have it reset by a Ducati dealer.
To winterize, clean the motorcycle, top off the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, lubricate moving parts, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the motorcycle.
Overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a malfunctioning thermostat, a clogged radiator, or poor airflow. Check these components and replace or repair as necessary.
Use the adjustment knobs or screws on the front forks and rear shock to adjust preload, rebound, and compression damping to suit your riding style and weight. Refer to the owner's manual for specific adjustment procedures and settings.
Starting issues may be due to a weak battery, faulty starter motor, clogged fuel injectors, or ignition system problems. Check and address each system to resolve starting issues.
