To replace the belt, first unplug the vacuum. Remove the screws on the bottom plate, lift off the plate, and take out the brush roll. Slide off the old belt, loop the new belt around the motor shaft and brush roll, and reassemble.
Check for clogs in the hose, filters, and brush roll. Empty the dust container and clean the filters. Ensure the brush roll is spinning freely without obstructions.
Clean the filters every 1-2 months and replace them every 6 months, or more frequently if you use the vacuum extensively or have allergies.
A loud noise could be due to debris caught in the brush roll or a worn-out belt. Inspect these parts and remove any obstructions or replace the belt if needed.
Check to ensure the drive belt is intact and properly aligned. If the belt is fine, inspect the wheels and drive mechanism for any damage or obstructions.
Press the release button to detach the dirt container. Hold it over a trash bin, open the bottom lid to empty the contents, then close the lid and reattach the container to the vacuum.
Regularly check the brush roll for tangled hair or thread. Remove any obstructions and ensure the roll spins freely. Replace the brush roll if the bristles are worn out.
Immediately stop using the vacuum and unplug it. Inspect the belt and motor for signs of overheating or damage. Replace the belt if it appears burnt or worn.
Ensure the height adjustment setting is appropriate for your carpet type. Regularly clean or replace filters and ensure the brush roll and belt are in good condition.
Unplug the vacuum, wrap the cord securely, empty the dirt container, and clean the filters. Store the vacuum in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
