To perform a basic operational check, ensure the liftgate is powered, check the hydraulic fluid levels, inspect for any visible damage, and operate the lift through a full cycle to confirm smooth operation.
If the liftgate does not lift, check the battery connections, ensure the power switch is on, inspect the hydraulic fluid level, and look for any blown fuses. If these do not resolve the issue, consult the manual or a technician.
Regular maintenance should be performed every three months or 500 cycles, whichever comes first. This includes inspecting hydraulic components, checking fluid levels, and lubricating moving parts.
Dhollandia recommends using ISO VG32 hydraulic oil for optimal performance and longevity of the liftgate.
Ensure all operators are trained on the liftgate's operation, regularly inspect safety features such as warning decals and handrails, and always follow the load capacity guidelines.
Immediately cease operation of the liftgate, clean up any spilled fluid, and inspect the hydraulic lines for damage. Replace any damaged components and refill the hydraulic fluid before resuming use.
Slower operation may be due to low hydraulic fluid levels, cold temperatures affecting fluid viscosity, or a partially blocked hydraulic line. Check these areas to diagnose the issue.
To adjust the platform leveling, use the leveling bolts located on the platform's underside. Adjust these bolts until the platform is level when fully deployed to ensure safe operation.
When storing the liftgate, ensure it is fully retracted and locked. Disconnect the power if storing for extended periods, and cover the liftgate to protect it from environmental elements.
Check for blown fuses, inspect wiring connections for corrosion or damage, and ensure the battery is fully charged. Use a multimeter to test voltage levels if necessary.
