Craftsman CMXGRAM1130035 Instruction Manual

To change the oil, first, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up. Then, turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire. Place a suitable container under the oil drain valve, open the valve, and allow the old oil to drain completely. Replace the drain valve cap, fill with new oil as per the manual, and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or other ethanol blends higher than 10% as it may damage the engine.
Check if there is fuel in the tank and if the fuel valve is open. Ensure the battery is charged and terminals are clean. Verify the spark plug wire is connected and the spark plug is not fouled. Check the air filter for clogs. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a professional technician.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 14 psi and for the rear tires is 10 psi. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface and the engine is off. Disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a suitable wrench to remove the blade bolt. Install the new blade, ensuring it is aligned correctly, and tighten the bolt securely. Reconnect the spark plug wire before use.
This could be due to dull blades, incorrect cutting height, or uneven terrain. Sharpen or replace the blades, adjust the cutting height according to the grass type, and mow at a slower speed to ensure even cutting.
Park the tractor on a flat surface, turn off the engine, and disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a deck scraper or putty knife to remove grass clippings and debris. For a thorough clean, use a garden hose to wash the underside of the deck, ensuring no water enters the engine or electrical components.
Before storage, clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Inspect the air filter every 25 hours of operation and replace it every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. In dusty conditions, more frequent replacement may be necessary.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose parts, or damaged components. Check and balance or replace the blades, tighten loose parts, and inspect for any damaged components that may need repair or replacement.
