To start the Craftsman CMEHT150 Mower, ensure the battery is fully charged, insert the safety key, and push the start button while holding down the safety lever.
Check if the battery is charged, the safety key is properly inserted, and the safety lever is engaged. Inspect for any obstructions around the blade and ensure all connections are secure.
It is recommended to sharpen the mower blades after every 20-25 hours of use or at the beginning of each mowing season to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure the blades are sharp, the deck is clean, and the grass is dry when mowing. Adjust the cutting height according to grass length and type.
Keep the battery clean and dry, store it in a cool, dry place when not in use, and charge it fully before storage to prolong its lifespan.
Disconnect the battery, tilt the mower to access the deck, and use a brush or compressed air to remove grass clippings and debris. Avoid using water directly on electrical components.
Check for debris or obstructions around the blade area, ensure the blade is balanced and properly installed, and inspect for any damage or wear on components.
Regular maintenance such as cleaning, blade sharpening, battery care, and proper storage will extend the life of your mower. Avoid mowing over rough or rocky terrain.
For cool-season grasses, a cutting height of 2.5 to 3.5 inches is recommended. For warm-season grasses, 1 to 2 inches is optimal. Adjust based on specific lawn conditions.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove the battery and store it separately in a cool, dry place. Keep the mower in a dry area, protected from extreme temperatures.
