Craftsman CMCMW260 Instruction Manual

To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel. Move the lever to the desired height setting, ensuring all wheels are set to the same level for an even cut.
First, ensure the battery is fully charged and properly connected. Check the safety key is inserted. If it still doesn't start, inspect the mower for any obstructions or damage.
Sharpen the mower blades at least once a season or after every 25 hours of use to maintain optimal cutting performance.
It is not recommended to use the mower in wet conditions as it can lead to clogging and uneven cuts. Wait for the grass to dry before mowing.
After use, turn off the mower and remove the battery. Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings from the deck and blades. Avoid using water to prevent damage to electrical components.
Keep the battery clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use, and avoid extreme temperatures. Charge the battery fully before storage.
Ensure all wheels are set to the same height. Check the blade for sharpness or damage, and inspect the deck for obstructions. Adjust settings or replace components as needed.
The mower uses a 20-inch high-lift blade. To replace it, remove the battery, turn the mower on its side, and use a wrench to remove the blade bolt. Install the new blade and tighten securely.
Clean the mower thoroughly and remove the battery. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area. Maintain the battery charge to extend its lifespan.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade or loose parts. Check the blade for damage or imbalance, and tighten any loose components. Replace the blade if necessary.
