Ensure the stove is placed on a stable, flat surface. Check the fuel tank for any leaks and fill it with Coleman fuel. Pump the tank about 20 strokes, open the control valve, and light the burner with a match or lighter.
Check the fuel level and ensure the tank is adequately pressurized. Inspect the generator for clogs and clean if necessary. Make sure the control valve is open and try lighting the stove again.
Regularly clean the burner and check the generator for clogs. Store the stove in a dry place to prevent rusting and always empty the fuel tank before storage.
Remove the generator from the stove, soak it in a solution of vinegar and water, and use a soft brush to remove any deposits. Rinse thoroughly and ensure it is dry before reattaching.
A yellow or orange flame usually indicates incomplete combustion. Clean the burner and the generator, check for proper fuel pressure, and ensure the air tube is not blocked.
Keep the fuel tank warm by storing it in a warm place before use. Consider using a windscreen to protect the flame and maintain pressure by pumping more frequently.
Let the stove cool down completely, empty any remaining fuel, clean the burner and external parts, and store it in a dry place to prevent rust and corrosion.
Immediately extinguish any flames and stop using the stove. Inspect the fuel tank for cracks or damage, check the fuel cap seal, and replace any faulty parts before using the stove again.
Use the control valve to adjust the fuel flow, which will increase or decrease the flame size. Turn the valve counterclockwise to increase and clockwise to decrease the flame.
Use Coleman Liquid Fuel or clean white gasoline. Avoid using unleaded gasoline as it can lead to clogging and reduced performance.
