Ensure the LP gas cylinder is properly connected and the valve is open. Turn the burner control to the "Ignite" position and press the ignition button. If the grill does not ignite, wait 5 minutes to allow gas to clear and try again.
Check for gas flow issues by ensuring the LP cylinder is full and the regulator is not blocked. Inspect the burner tubes for obstructions or debris and clean if necessary.
Turn off the gas supply and remove the burners. Use a wire brush to clean the exterior and a thin, flexible wire to clean the interior of the tubes. Ensure all ports are clear before reassembling.
Clean the grill thoroughly, disconnect the LP cylinder, and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the grill with a weather-resistant cover and store it in a sheltered area.
Trim excess fat from meats and avoid letting grease accumulate in the drip pan. Keep a spray bottle of water nearby to quickly extinguish small flare-ups.
Yellow flames indicate incomplete combustion, often caused by an obstruction in the burner. Clean the burner and venturi tubes to ensure proper air and gas flow.
Inspect the hoses and connections for leaks every time you replace the LP cylinder or at least once a month. Use a soapy water solution to check for bubbles indicating leaks.
Turn off the gas supply and remove the grill grates. Unscrew the igniter cap and disconnect the wires. Install the new igniter by reversing these steps, ensuring all connections are secure.
Clean the grates after each use with a grill brush. Periodically oil them to prevent rust. Store the grill with a cover to protect the grates from the elements.
Uneven flames can be caused by blocked burner holes. Clean the burner with a brush and ensure the gas ports are clear. Check for consistent gas flow from the LP cylinder.
