To fill the lantern, ensure it is cool and turn the fuel cap counterclockwise to remove it. Use a funnel to pour kerosene into the tank, filling it to the desired level. Avoid overfilling to prevent spills.
Check the fuel level and ensure the mantles are properly installed and not broken. Verify that the fuel valve is open and the generator is free from clogs. If necessary, replace worn-out parts.
Regularly clean the lantern after every few uses to maintain optimal performance. Wipe down the exterior and clean the globe with a mild soap and water solution.
Ensure the fuel is fresh and the mantles are correctly installed. Flickering may be caused by low fuel pressure or impurities in the kerosene. Clean the generator if needed.
First, ensure the lantern is cool. Remove the globe and unscrew the old mantles. Attach new mantles to the burner, shape them, and light them to burn off the protective coating.
Empty the fuel tank and clean the lantern thoroughly. Remove and store the mantles separately. Store the lantern in a dry, cool place to prevent rust and corrosion.
Check the gasket on the fuel cap for wear and replace it if damaged. Ensure the cap is tightened properly. If the leak persists, consider replacing the fuel cap.
This could be due to spillage or leaks. Check for fuel leaks around the cap and generator. Ensure proper ventilation and that the lantern is functioning correctly.
Adjust the brightness by turning the fuel valve knob. Increasing the fuel flow will brighten the light, while decreasing it will dim the light.
Ensure the mantles are intact and properly installed. Check the fuel level and pressure. Clean the generator and replace any worn parts if necessary.
