Clarke 8877100 IG3500F Instructions

Ensure the generator is on a flat surface, check fuel and oil levels, turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position, set the choke lever, turn the engine switch to 'ON', and pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and connected, verify the air filter is not clogged, and make sure the fuel valve and choke are in the correct positions.
Perform maintenance every 50 hours of use or every 6 months, whichever comes first. This includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the air filter, and checking the spark plug.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for general use. In colder temperatures, 5W-30 may be more suitable. Always check the manual for specific recommendations based on your climate.
Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the generator's rated output. Use a wattage calculator and disconnect non-essential devices if necessary.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, allow it to dry completely, and then reinstall it.
Clean the generator, drain the fuel tank, run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor, change the oil, and store it in a dry, dust-free location.
The recommended spark plug gap is 0.7-0.8 mm. Always refer to the manual for verification before making adjustments.
Check for stale fuel, clean or replace the air filter, inspect the spark plug, and ensure there are no fuel line obstructions.
Operate the generator outdoors away from windows and vents to prevent carbon monoxide buildup. Use proper grounding, avoid overloading, and never refuel while the engine is hot.
