To safely lift a vehicle, position the jack under the vehicle's lifting point, pump the handle until the vehicle reaches the desired height, and ensure stability by securing with jack stands.
To check the hydraulic fluid level, fully lower the jack, remove the fill plug, and ensure the fluid is level with the bottom of the fill hole. Top up if necessary.
If the jack isn't lifting fully, check for air in the hydraulic system and bleed it if necessary. Also, inspect for hydraulic fluid leaks and top up the fluid if low.
Regular maintenance includes checking and topping up hydraulic fluid, inspecting for leaks, cleaning the jack, and lubricating moving parts periodically.
Ensure the jack is used on a flat, stable surface, do not exceed its weight capacity, and always use jack stands to support the vehicle after lifting.
The jack is designed for vehicles weighing up to 1.5 tonnes. Always check the vehicle’s weight and lift points before use.
To bleed air, open the release valve, pump the handle 5-6 times without load, close the valve, and test the jack's lifting capability.
Check for obstructions or debris in the handle mechanism, and lubricate if necessary. If the problem persists, inspect the return spring for damage.
Service the jack at least once a year, or more frequently if used regularly. Check the hydraulic system, lubricate parts, and inspect for wear and tear.
Store the jack in a dry place, in the lowered position to reduce stress on the hydraulic system, and periodically check for rust or damage.
