Ensure the power washer is on a flat surface. Connect the high-pressure hose to the spray gun and the machine. Attach the water supply hose to the inlet valve and ensure it is fully connected. Finally, plug in the power cord to a suitable outlet.
Check if the power cord is properly connected and that the outlet is functioning. Ensure the water supply is turned on and there are no kinks in the hoses. Also, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker to see if it has tripped.
Regularly check and clean the inlet filter to prevent blockages. Ensure there are no leaks in the hoses and that the nozzle is not clogged. Always use the correct nozzle for the task to maintain optimal pressure.
Perform basic maintenance, such as cleaning the nozzles and checking the hoses, after every use. A more thorough inspection and maintenance, including checking the oil level and replacing it if necessary, should be done every 30 hours of use or seasonally.
Turn off the power washer and disconnect it from the power source. Remove the nozzle from the spray gun and use a small brush or a nozzle cleaning tool to remove any debris. Rinse the nozzle with clean water before reattaching it.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced pump or loose components. Check to ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened. Inspect the pump for any signs of wear or damage and replace any worn parts.
Drain all water from the hoses and pump to prevent freezing. Store the power washer in a dry and sheltered area. It's also recommended to add a pump saver or antifreeze solution to protect the internal components from freezing damage.
Inspect all connections to ensure they are tight and not damaged. Check the hoses for any signs of wear or cracks. If the leak is from the pump, inspect the seals and gaskets and replace any that are worn or damaged.
The Clarke JET9500B is designed for use with cold water. Using hot water may damage the pump and void the warranty. Always ensure the water temperature does not exceed the manufacturer's recommendations.
Turn off the power washer and unplug it from the power source. Shut off the water supply and squeeze the trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system. Disconnect the hoses and store them properly.
