To start the power washer, ensure that the fuel tank is filled with unleaded petrol. Check that all connections are secure. Turn the fuel valve to the "on" position, set the choke to "closed" if the engine is cold, and pull the starter rope. Once the engine starts, gradually open the choke.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, inspecting hoses for leaks, and ensuring that the spark plug is clean. It's also important to flush the detergent tank and run clean water through the system after use.
Low pressure can be caused by clogged nozzles, air in the pump, or a kinked hose. Check for obstructions in the nozzle, ensure the hose is straight, and bleed the air from the pump by running the washer without the high-pressure nozzle until the water flow is steady.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for the engine. It's important to check the oil level before each use and change the oil after the initial 5 hours of operation, then every 50 hours of use thereafter.
To winterize the power washer, first drain all water from the pump and hoses. Add a pump saver antifreeze solution to prevent damage from freezing. Store the washer in a dry, protected area to avoid exposure to harsh weather conditions.
Difficulty in starting may be due to stale fuel, a dirty air filter, or a fouled spark plug. Replace old fuel, clean or replace the air filter, and inspect the spark plug for wear or buildup. Adjust or replace components as necessary.
Excessive vibration can be due to loose components or an unbalanced engine. Check all bolts and fasteners for tightness and inspect the engine for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the surface where the washer is placed is stable and level.
To clean the air filter, remove the cover and take out the filter element. Wash it with warm soapy water and allow it to dry completely. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the filter before reinstalling. Make sure the filter is secured properly.
The Clarke 7320212 Tiger 3000B is designed for use with cold water only. Using hot water can damage the pump and other components, voiding the warranty. Always use water at temperatures below 40°C (104°F).
Adjust the pressure by changing the nozzle tip to a different spray pattern. The nozzles with wider angles will reduce the pressure, while narrower angles increase it. Ensure that the engine speed is set to the proper level for the desired pressure output.
