The recommended oil type for the Clarke 2320865 SHHH 30 9 Air Compressor is SAE 30 non-detergent compressor oil.
It is advised to change the oil after the first 50 hours of use, and subsequently every 500 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
Ensure the compressor is turned off and unplugged. Open the drain valve located at the bottom of the tank to release any moisture. Close the valve after draining.
Check if the compressor is properly plugged in and ensure the power supply is working. Also, verify that the pressure switch is in the 'on' position and the tank pressure is below the cut-in pressure.
Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable surface and use rubber mounts or pads to absorb vibrations. Regular maintenance such as tightening loose parts can also help reduce noise.
Check for any blockages in the air vents and ensure the compressor is not placed in a confined space. Allow the compressor to cool down and inspect for any signs of wear or damage.
Turn the pressure regulator knob clockwise to increase pressure or counterclockwise to decrease it. Always monitor the pressure gauge to ensure desired settings.
Regularly check and replace the air filter, inspect hoses for leaks, drain the tank of moisture, and perform oil changes as per the recommended schedule.
It is not recommended to use extension cords with the compressor. Instead, use a longer air hose to extend reach if necessary.
Inspect all connections, hoses, and fittings for leaks. Use soapy water to identify bubbles indicating leaks, and tighten or replace components as needed.
