Use a high-quality air compressor oil, specifically designed for piston compressors, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
It is recommended to change the oil every 500 hours of operation or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
To drain moisture, ensure the compressor is off and depressurized, then open the drain valve located at the bottom of the tank and allow all moisture to escape.
Check the power supply, ensure the pressure switch is operational, and verify that the thermal overload protector has not tripped.
Inspect for air leaks in the system, ensure the pressure relief valve is set correctly, and check for blockages in the air intake filter.
Regularly inspect the air filter for dirt and debris, clean it with compressed air if reusable, or replace it if it is worn or damaged.
Operate the compressor in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area with ambient temperatures between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).
To adjust the pressure regulator, turn the adjustment knob clockwise to increase pressure or counterclockwise to decrease pressure until the desired setting is reached.
Check for loose components, ensure proper lubrication, and inspect the motor and pump for wear or damage. Refer to the manual for specific troubleshooting steps.
The air receiver tank should be inspected annually for signs of corrosion and integrity to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
