Ensure the power switch is in the 'off' position, plug the compressor into a suitable power outlet, and then switch it to 'on'. Allow the compressor to build pressure until it automatically shuts off.
To maintain the air filter, remove it from the compressor, clean it with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinserting it. Replace it if it shows signs of wear or damage.
Check for leaks in the hose or connections, ensure the drain valve is closed, and inspect the pressure switch for malfunctions. Additionally, verify that the intake filter is clean and not obstructed.
Change the oil after the first 50 hours of operation, and subsequently every 200 hours or every 3 months, whichever comes first. Use the recommended oil type as specified in the user manual.
Use a high-quality, non-detergent air compressor oil with a viscosity grade of SAE 30 or as specified in the manufacturer's guidelines.
Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, vibration-absorbing surface. Consider installing a noise reduction enclosure or using rubber pads under the compressor. Regular maintenance can also help reduce noise.
Check if the power supply is working, inspect the power cord and plug for damage, ensure the reset button is not tripped, and verify that the tank pressure is below the maximum set point.
Turn off and unplug the compressor. Open the drain valve located at the bottom of the tank to release moisture. Close the valve once all moisture has drained. Perform this task regularly to prevent rusting.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection, ensure the compressor is on a stable surface, do not exceed the recommended pressure, and never leave the compressor running unattended. Follow all manufacturer instructions and warnings.
To check the pressure, read the gauge on the compressor. Adjust the pressure by turning the pressure regulator knob clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the pressure until the desired level is reached.
