To adjust the length, press the release lever located at the side of the tool, then slide the handle to the desired length. Make sure to lock it in place before use.
Ensure that the teeth are clean and free of debris. If they're worn out, consider replacing them. Also, check if the carpet is too thick for the current setting and adjust accordingly.
The knee kicker is suitable for most types of carpets. However, for very thick or delicate carpets, it's recommended to test on a small area first to ensure no damage occurs.
Regularly clean the tool to remove dust and debris. Lubricate moving parts periodically with a light machine oil and store in a dry place to prevent rust.
Adjust the tool's length to match your height and apply consistent force with your knee. Start from one corner and work your way out evenly for best results.
Stop using the tool immediately and check the locking mechanism. Tighten any loose screws and ensure the release lever is functioning correctly before continuing.
Replacement knee pads are available for purchase. If damaged, it's recommended to replace the pad to maintain comfort and effectiveness while using the tool.
Wear knee protection to avoid injury. Ensure the area is clear of obstacles and use appropriate force to prevent strain or damage to the carpet or the tool.
Use a brush to remove any fibers or debris stuck between the teeth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth but ensure the tool is completely dry before storage.
If the tool does not extend or lock properly, teeth are worn out, or the knee pad is damaged beyond repair, consider repairing or replacing the tool to ensure safety and effectiveness.
