To set the time on your Citizen H01x, pull the crown out to the first click, rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time, and then push the crown back in.
First, ensure that the watch is fully charged by exposing it to light. If it still doesn't work, reset the watch by pulling the crown out to the second click and rotating it clockwise. If the problem persists, consult the manual or contact Citizen customer service.
Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate it counterclockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage to the date mechanism.
Regularly clean the watch with a soft cloth, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, and have it serviced every 2-3 years by an authorized service center to ensure optimal performance.
The Citizen H01x is usually equipped with Eco-Drive technology, which doesn't require a battery replacement. If the watch stops, it might need to be recharged by exposure to light.
Check the water resistance rating of your specific model. If it is rated at least 100 meters, it is suitable for swimming. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is submerged.
The watch will maintain accurate timekeeping when fully charged. If the second hand skips or moves in two-second intervals, it indicates a low charge level.
For minor scratches, a watch polishing compound can be used. For significant damage, it's best to take the watch to an authorized service center for glass replacement.
Ensure the watch is fully charged and reset the time. If the problem continues, it could be due to a mechanical issue, and professional servicing may be required.
Metal bands can be cleaned with mild soapy water and a soft brush. Leather bands should be wiped with a damp cloth and conditioned with a leather conditioner. Always dry thoroughly.
