To set the time on your Citizen G909, pull the crown out to the second click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in to finalize the setting.
First, check if the battery needs replacement. If the battery is fine, ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If issues persist, contact Citizen support or visit an authorized service center.
Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water to wipe the watch. Avoid using chemicals or submerging the watch unless it is water-resistant. For the bracelet, use a toothbrush with mild soap and water.
To adjust the bracelet, use a small tool to remove the pins from the links. Adjust the number of links to fit your wrist comfortably, then reinsert the pins securely.
A slow running watch may indicate that the battery is low or there is a need for servicing. Consider replacing the battery or having it serviced by an authorized technician.
Check the water resistance rating on your Citizen G909. If it is rated for water resistance, it is safe for swimming. However, avoid pressing buttons underwater.
It is recommended to have the battery changed by a professional to ensure proper sealing and function. If you choose to do it yourself, use a case opener to carefully remove the back cover, replace the battery, and securely close the case.
The Citizen G909 typically uses a lithium button cell battery. Refer to the user manual for the specific battery model, or consult with a Citizen service center.
To reset the chronograph, press the button at the 4 o'clock position. Ensure the chronograph hands return to the zero position. If not, refer to the manual for calibration instructions.
Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If possible, keep it in a watch box or case to protect it from dust and scratches.
