If your Citizen E260 watch stops working, it might be due to a depleted battery. Ensure the battery is charged by exposing the watch to light. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact Citizen support.
To adjust the date, pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown until the desired date appears. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 1 AM to prevent damage to the date mechanism.
Inaccurate timekeeping on your Citizen E260 can result from exposure to magnetic fields or a need for servicing. Keep the watch away from magnets and have it serviced by an authorized technician if the issue persists.
To maintain your watch strap, clean it regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid exposure to moisture, perfumes, and chemicals to prevent damage and discoloration.
The Citizen E260 watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters. It is suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for diving. Ensure the crown is pushed in to maintain water resistance.
To reset the chronograph, press the button located at the 4 o'clock position after stopping it. The chronograph hands will return to their starting positions.
It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional to ensure proper sealing and maintenance of water resistance. Contact an authorized Citizen service center for battery replacement.
It is advisable to have your Citizen E260 watch serviced every 3-5 years by an authorized service center to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
If the Eco-Drive feature is not functioning, the watch may need more exposure to light. Place the watch under direct sunlight or a fluorescent light source for several hours to recharge the battery.
